From there he developed all of the Grand Prix's, all the overseas tours and he was the one who went out and was capable of getting all of the sponsorships. He also viewed his abdominals as a weak spot, so he preferred to train them first to give them more attention. If you remember, I don't think there was a single interview after the Olympia by any contestant other than Tom Platz. Later in 1980, I happened to be in New York on business and went to meet with Mr. Egan and he was kind enough to show me the raw footage then - to my knowledge, the only people that ever saw it were the people present with me that Saturday afternoon: Chris Dickerson, Wayne Demilia, his then wife Karen. I never really looked at bodybuilding as a career, as I was never lucky enough to have any kind of contract. Now Vince McMahon had the right idea in the beginning.
